Why do I have to pay an upfront fee?

Research takes time—and Grammy Gator takes her research seriously! 😉I just don’t look at a price and call it a day but dig into costs, reviews, ratings, options, and the little details that can make a BIG difference in your trip.

An upfront, non-refundable research fee is required when researching your trip. Whether you decide to make the arrangements yourself or have me handle the bookings for you, this fee covers the time spent doing the research and putting your options together.

Some travel suppliers—especially airfare and rental car companies—do not pay commissions, even when I do the work to find and research those options for you.

If you decide that Grammy Gator Travels will be handling the bookings, a credit of 10% of the upfront fee will be credited to your trip.

Cruise and rail packages work a little differently because Grammy Gator Travels must be the one to schedule these packages. If you choose a cruise or rail package.🐊💚

Yep—you read that right. Because Grammy Gator has to book the Disney packages, there is NO research fee for Disney packages!

The research fee is an additional expense because working hard to keep your overall costs as low as possible while finding options that give you the best value for your money is my objective. 

My goal isn’t simply to find the cheapest option. It’s to help you find the right option, maximize your travel experience, and keep that vacation as close to your budget as possible.

Because at the end of the day, your concern should be spending your money- making memories—not wondering if you could have gotten a better deal! 🐊✈️🌴🧳

💰 How Would You Like to Handle Payments?

When it comes to payments, the choice is totally up to you! 🐊💚

You need to feel comfortable with how your vacation payments are handled, so here are a few options:

1. You Make the Payments
You will receive an invoice with payment information on where to send to, and you can make the payments directly to the travel supplier/facility. You’re in control, and you handle each payment yourself.

2. You Send Me the Money
You can send the payment to me to use those funds to make the payment directly to the appropriate travel supplier.

3. Let Grammy Gator Keep Track of the Payments 🐊
If you’d like me to make sure those payments are made on time, you can sign a Payment Authorization Form giving me permission to process the scheduled payments for you.

But don’t worry—I’m not going to surprise-charge your card! 😉

If you choose this option, your card will NOT be charged without you being notified first. Before each payment, you will be notified how much will be charged and when the payment will be made. After the payment is processed, you’ll receive a receipt showing the same payment details for your records.

Once all of your scheduled payments have been completed, your Payment Authorization Form will be returned to you or, with your permission, securely shredded.

My goal is to make the payment process as easy and stress-free as possible while making sure you always know what is being paid, when it is being paid, and where your money is going.

Things happen. Plans change, and cancellation policies can vary depending on the supplier. I will make sure you receive the specific cancellation details for each part of your itinerary so you are fully informed and prepared before making any decisions.

The cancellation policies differ per facility. But most packages require a minimum of 60 days’ notice.
